Collective Celebration
New Year’s is a collective celebration of resilience—a reminder that we’ve made it through another orbit around the Sun. While 2024 brought its challenges, I hope it also brought moments of joy and connection.
In tough times, I’ve found that keeping a gratitude list can be a grounding practice. Not as blind optimism, or PollyAnna fake positivity, but as a way to find balance. It reminds us to smell the flowers, to note the small pleasures, even when life might be heavy. New Year’s is also my time to reflect: What’s working? What’s not? What could I do differently?
Perhaps you’re reflecting on ways to improve your life in 2025?
Whether physically, mentally, or emotionally—Feldenkrais could be the perfect place to start. This pioneering practice is rooted in the connection between body and brain. In 1940s Israel, Moshe Feldenkrais taught Holocaust survivors through Feldenkrais lessons. Helping them to move forwards with their lives. Focussing on being present, increasing awareness, and finding new ways of moving and thinking. It’s a way of stepping into what’s possible—right here, right now.
