Feldenkrais gives you an intelligent and safe way to improve your health; enhance your ability to perform, and prevent injuries. Using gentle but profound movements, Feldenkrais enables people to discover how to move and live in an easier and fuller way.

Neuroscientists (including Norman Doidge) back the Feldenkrais Method as a way of healing ourselves using the huge potential of our brains to self improve, no matter how old we are, or where we start. If we move better, we can do everything better.

Emma Alter, Sophie Arditti, and Ed Bartram have joined forces at Scrutton Street to offer this cutting edge approach to improving your daily life.

EmmaEmma comes from a background as a professional musician. She is especially interested in working with performers; and has given workshops in Practical Psychology of Performance at the RCM, RWCMD, the Musicians’ Union, and most recently for the RNCM; as well as working individually with both professional musicians and singers (of all genres) to improve both pain levels and performance.

Her other areas of interest are children with special needs: she has over 20 years experience teaching children. She also likes working with people who wish to work more easily, whether office based or otherwise.  Click here for her Feldenkrais Guild profile, or website themovingbrain.com

edEd’s  focus at the moment is working with families (both grown-ups and children) and with people struggling with sedentary or computer-based work.

He also works with a wide range of clients from office-based workers to acrobats, from ages 80+ to children over age of 5, from those who have suffered strokes to athletes. The variety of Feldenkrais work is one of its great joys!  Click here for his Feldenkrais Guild profile, or website movinglessons.co.uk
